Design and Pre-Design Studies (Scoping Study, Pre-Feasibility Study, Feasibility Study)
IMC Montan will provide services in all aspects related to different stages of mining operations development from preliminary investigations to detailed engineering. We implement all stages of project study within the scope of work in compliance with the international standards. The documents will be used both for work with investors and planning the company operations.
Conducting pre-design studies, we prepare strategic development plans, review and compare various options of operations choosing the optimum and the most efficient one. And we base our work on both the Russian and international expertise.
Our work is often a basis for development of design documentation by Design institutes, or we collaborate in a consortium with them, preparing the Technical and Economic Considerations and the Technical and Economic Proposal, Feasibility Studies and mine designs.
Mining Optimization and 3D Modeling
The best international practices of mining optimization use advanced approaches and methods. These are mainly software programmes recognized by the international mining community as standards.
Using vast mine optimization experience of our specialists combined with their awareness of the CIS specifics, our team is successful in implementing assignments related to improving efficiency of deposits development at different stages from exploration to commercial production.
We use the generally accepted software – Surpac, Whittle, MicroMine, DataMine etc. – for deposits modeling and mining optimization.
IMC Montan is qualified to realize engineering projects in the area of processing mineral resources (ore, coal, aggregate minerals) as well as production waste and production-induced deposits. We will solve the tasks of choice and argumentation of the processing technology. We often review issues of further mineral refining.
We pay special attention to mechanical processes of feed handling and processing, specifically to crushing, grinding, screening, cleaning, sintering and thickening processes. We actively use laboratory testing as well as simulation and ore concentration and processing design-, planning- and optimization-oriented estimates.
