Competent Person’s Report

Valuation of Mineral Resources and Reserves According to International Standards
Mineral resources/reserves valuations according to international standards (JORC, NI 43-101, PERC and other) are currently one of the most saleable and marketable consulting services, since they enable mining companies to enter the international financial markets and produce the auditor’s report according to international standards.
The valuation of reserves includes appraisal and analysis of geological conditions, assessment of mining and processing technologies applied, analysis of the existing infrastructure, industrial safety, environmental review and compliance with the international standards, analysis of the numbers of manpower, costs and revenue analysis, analysis of other factors and risks influencing production of saleable products. Besides, recommendations to improve the technologies and the resource base quality are provided separately, when necessary.
Mining Projects Due Diligence
Our company will produce independent mining operations or projects due diligence aimed at objective disclosure and presentation of their current status. The work results in assessment of the potential to maintain or build up production. The issues to be analyzed include: presence of resources in place, current state of the operations and fixed assets, manpower, financial and economic valuation of actual project costs and future cash flows as well as many other aspects according to the Client’s Terms of Reference.
This work is carried out both at the request of outside investors and in the name of the company owners who wish to have objective data on the state of the operations and bottlenecks in different production processes.
QA / QC of Exploration
QA/QC of exploration will be done at the initial stage of the deposit development and as a rule starts at the time of exploration programme preparation.
Total QC of geological exploration includes assessment of exploration quality and integrity in terms of compliance with the international standards.
Specific aspects include: analysis of geological exploration programme; preparation of Exploration Quality Procedure Specification; QC of mining and drilling and geophysical operations.
Owner’s Engineer Report
This work is carried for financial institutions or at the request of the company owners. A standard OER includes:
• Analysis of the current status of the Project and documentation.
• Updating of the Project parameters.
• Development of OER procedure.
• Monitoring of the production schedule compliance.
• Monitoring of budget performance and intended use of funding
• Detailed gap analysis causing deviation/variation of the initial Project parameters. Gap related risks.
• Actions aimed at mitigation of negative implications.
Monitoring may be carried out on monthly, quarterly or other regular bases. When the Service Provider is required to be on site on a permanent basis and to participate directly in the Project implementation activity control, a team of qualified independent experts will be formed.
Environment Impact Assessment
IMC Montan has the required qualifications to carry out comprehensive analysis and operations environmental impact assessment and to tackle issues of rational nature management, including estimation of restoration costs.
IMC Montan has up-to-date knowledge in the area of the Environment Law in Russia and other states and international environmental standards. Our experts will assess environmental and economic efficiency of the company operations at any stage of the Project implementation and will propose options of solutions for mitigation of the negative environmental impact, both technical and in the area of operational and environmental management.
Having vast experience in mining business, IMC Montan will support potential investors and banks through services of independent experts’ assessment of documents and materials related to mines development. These may include bankable business plans to borrow credits, company development programmes to draw outside investments, mine and individual production facilities construction designs, feasibility analyses etc.
